Welcome
Allow me to introduce our 2008 Capital Works Project “Love A Librarian”. This year we focus our efforts towards raising $100,000 to go to the James Wallace Memorial Library.
The Goal
Our goal is to raise $100,000 which will allow us to further position SCC as a leading centre for knowledge, research and learning and in doing so, provide our students with inspiration and information to support their study and research in a rapidly changing technological environment.
The Challenge
Imagine 100 runners/walkers participating in the City2Surf 14kms mini marathon and collectively raising $100,000 together - now imagine you running. Here is the challenge for you if you choose to accept it.
Register* with SCC as a runner (registration fee $40), then gather 14 sponsors (1 for each km of the fun run) at $71 each, giving you a minimum of $1000 sponsorship. Our collective efforts will raise the $100,000!
Sponsorship
If you are not able to participate in the fun run, we would love you to sponor a runner/walker. You can do this via Paypal, please click here and follow the instructions.
Prizes
Participants: Win a weekend for 2 staying at the world famous Palazzo Versace Hotel on the Gold Coast valued at $1000. The winner of this prize will be determined by the team member who raises the most sponsorship.*
Sponsors: Every sponsor of a kilometre, at $71, will go in the running to win a $500 cash prize.*
Partner Colleges & LCC Campuses: $500 Koorong gift voucher for the College or Campus that raises the most sponsorship
